About Al Futtaim Group
Majid Al Futtaim is a big company that does business in different places and industries. It has three main parts. One part, called Majid Al Futtaim Properties, takes care of shopping malls and hotels in 13 countries. They also run more than 10 big hotels.
Another part, Majid Al Futtaim Retail, is famous for bringing the Carrefour Hypermarket to the Middle East in 1995. They were the first ones to open a really big store like that in City Centre Deira. They're special because they are the only ones allowed to use the Carrefour name in 38 countries across the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia. They have a lot of big stores, called hypermarkets, and smaller ones, called supermarkets, in 14 countries.
